Description

The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), an executive agency of the Department for Transport (DfT), invites proposals for the following requirement that will be met by a multi-supplier contract. The contracts will be subject to the terms of the specification for the Provision of Prosecution and Legal Services, and will be for an initial term of 4 (four) years.

DVSA are responsible for carrying out various enforcement functions on a number of different schemes relating to road safety. As a result of this activity, various types of offences are detected by DVSA Examiners and Investigators which may justify prosecution action through the court system. Once a decision has been taken to prosecute, the case papers are passed over to the DVSA Prosecution and Legal Services team ("PLS"), based in Bristol. PLS is responsible for progressing cases through the courts; dealing with all matters including the laying of information, adjournments, conclusion of the case and reporting back to the DVSA Network customer.

Complete Tender Coverage

Following Brexit, the new official Find a Tender system has been developed by UK Government to detail all public procurement contract opportunities expected to be over £122, 976 for Central Government or £189,330 for the remainder of the public sector e.g. NHS contracts, Local Authority contracts, Housing Association contracts. Publishing requirements for all of the public sector are in place to ensure transparency, fairness and open competition.

All UK public sector opportunities under these values, but over £10,000 for central government or over £25,000 for other public sector organisations, are still required to be published on Contracts Finder. Scotland, Wales and NI also have their own dedicated sites: Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, eSourcing NI and eTendersNI.

Complete Tenders have centralised and consolidated all of this information into a single, easy to use platform that is updated hourly with all new opportunities.
